Fresh blackberries and apple pair together wonderfully. The dynamic duo is featured in our fan-favorite twist on the apple pie—the Blackberry Apple Pie—and a plethora of other curated pairings in our recipe offerings. But perhaps the most-loved blackberry and apple recipe is our Blackberry Bourbon Apple Cider.
Most bourbons offer notes of oak, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of rye spice, which pairs well with crisp apple and juicy, tart blackberries. Skipping on the pre-made mixer and utilizing fresh ingredients provides an opportunity to indulge without the added sugars.
