Let’s be honest-I’ve been gobbling these beauties since February, but the summer sunshine has sparked the creative bone in my body. As mouthwatering as strawberries taste in a spruced up lemonade or married in the refreshing [Berry and Watermelon Popsicles](http://www.calgiant.com/recipes/berry-and-watermelon-popsicle) I’ll be making over the weekend, I’ve also been testing my skills using strawberries in all the ways!  “*Cindy, what are you talking about?”*   Well, the DIY addict in me has compiled my top 3 collection of recipes using strawberries not only in the kitchen for their nutritional properties, but also outside of the kitchen for their beauty benefits. **![orange\_smoothie\_email](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/file-2543438461-jpg/15_Buzz_Blog_Updates/orange_smoothie_email.jpg)** **Health** We all know berries are packed with healthy nutrients and antioxidants, but did you know 1 serving of strawberries contains more Vitamin C than an orange? Try this [Strawberry and Blood Orange Smoothie](http://www.calgiant.com/blog/2015/01/06/strawberry-blood-orange-smoothie) packed with Vitamin C from two super juiced fruits for a kick-start to your day and let us know what you think. **Teeth Whitener** I can’t get enough of these recipes from [Hello Natural](http://hellonatural.co/strawberry-beauty-recipes/) using strawberries to highlight your most important features. Try a simple and natural teeth whitener using strawberries which contain malic acid to remove surface stains. ![Canva\_Buzz\_Blog](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/Canva_Buzz_Blog.jpg) **Face Peel** The summer heat is bringing with it oily skin. Once again, Vitamin C is here to save the day! The lemons and strawberries in the [Zit Zapping Strawberry Face Peel](http://hellonatural.co/strawberry-beauty-recipes/) exfoliate and reduce the appearance of age spots while aspirin contains salicylic acid which acts as a chemical peel.
