This summer has been HOT! Embrace the heat with this sweet and savory balsamic strawberry ice cream sundae. I hate having to pick between salty and sweet and I don’t have to with this cooldown treat. This sundae is perfect for an end of the week splurge. It takes less than five minutes to sauté the strawberries and whip the homemade whipped cream. It's so easy and it will be great to eat tomorrow because it's Friday and National Strawberry Sundae Day!
I personally love to layer my sundaes! I start with ice cream on the bottom followed by a layer of balsamic strawberries. Then I top it all with pistachios, more strawberries, hot fudge and whipped cream! I keep going until my cup is overflowing. With so many ice cream toppings you’ll never get tired of this balsamic strawberry sundae!
