Desserts Ideas for the Berry Best Father's Day

Share

This Father’s Day, celebrate fathers—and father figures—with one (or several) of his favorite desserts! Whether it’s a slow-cooker cobbler with vanilla ice cream or a made-from-scratch pie, show dad how special he is by making one of these berry delicious homemade treats!

Easy Strawberry Pie

Just as the name implies, this homemade strawberry pie is easy to make and requires just 30 minutes of prep time. With simple ingredients, such as fresh California Giant strawberries, sugar, cornstarch and a store-bought pie crust, this classic dessert has a sweet and sticky strawberry filling that’s baked into a no-fail crust.

Tip: Get creative with the top crust. Arrange the crust in a lattice shape for a classic look, or use a cookie cutter to create your own designs!

Blueberry Blackberry Slow Cooker Cobbler

For those with a busy Father’s Day agenda, this slow cooker cobbler is a delicious hands-off recipe. Fresh blueberries and blackberries cook on low for about 4.5 hours, as the flavors marry and a fluffy crust forms atop the berries.

Tip: Top the warm cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. To add an even more decadent taste, top with white chocolate chips!

Raspberry Tiramisu

Put a twist on a classic tiramisu with the addition of juicy raspberries. This impressive dessert would be a delicious finale to an Italian-themed dinner. When Dad asks for a second serving of this sweet treat, we really can’t blame him!

Blackberry & White Chocolate Bread Pudding

Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, what could be better? This Blackberry and White Chocolate Pudding begins with toasted cubes of ciabatta bread and a creamy vanilla custard. Once the bread is soaked in the sweet custard, add the white chocolate chips and halved blackberries, then bake in the oven until bubbly and hot!
