I can almost smell it. Or taste it :) It already feels like spring here in California, with temperatures reaching almost 80 degrees yesterday! Feeling inspired (and hot!) I set out to make easy, healthy, no-churn strawberry ice cream. Using only frozen strawberries (from last season), lemon juice, a squeeze of honey, and Greek yogurt, this “ice cream” takes less than ten minutes to make. Just make sure your strawberries are completely frozen through, so you get a similar consistency to ice cream. Wouldn’t this also be so good with blackberries? I can’twait to try more variations! ![homemade\_ice\_cream-2.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-2.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-2.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-2.jpg") *Ingredients* 4 cups frozen strawberries Juice from half a lemon Generous squeeze of honey (more if you don’t want it too tart) ½ cup Greek yogurt *Instructions* In a food processor, process strawberries, lemon juice, honey and Greek yogurt for about five minutes, until creamy and thick. I transferred mine to a metal loaf pan and froze for one hour, but you can enjoy it right away if you like! ![homemade\_ice\_cream-4.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-4.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-4.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-4.jpg") ![homemade\_ice\_cream-5.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-5.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-5.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-5.jpg") ![homemade\_ice\_cream-11.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-11.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-11.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-11.jpg") ![homemade\_ice\_cream-13.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-13.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-13.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-13.jpg") ![homemade\_ice\_cream-16.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-16.jpg?width=720&name=homemade_ice_cream-16.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-16.jpg") ![homemade\_ice\_cream-25\_1.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-25_1.jpg?width=360&height=360&name=homemade_ice_cream-25_1.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-25_1.jpg")![homemade\_ice\_cream-25\_2.jpg](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/15_Buzz_Blog_Photo_Updates/homemade_ice_cream-25_2.jpg?width=360&height=360&name=homemade_ice_cream-25_2.jpg "homemade_ice_cream-25_2.jpg") ## Leave a Comment ### [@calgiantberries](https://www.instagram.com/calgiantberries/) ![](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/calgiant%20logo%20for%20hubspot%20author.png) ### Cal Giant [More posts from Cal Giant](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/preview/author/cal-giant) Never miss ANYTHING [Subscribe Today!](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/subscribe) ### Must Reads - [![fish tacos-10](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/2019%20Chef%20Invitational%20Recipes/Berry%20Bomb%20Fish%20Taco/fish%20tacos-10.jpg)](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/make-it-at-home-berry-bomb-fish-tacos) [Make it at Home: Berry Bomb Fish Tacos](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/make-it-at-home-berry-bomb-fish-tacos) - [![ss-stuffed-lemon-jack-o-lanterns 600x400](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/images-buzz-blog-2016/ss-stuffed-lemon-jack-o-lanterns%20600x400.jpg)](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/kids-take-over-halloween-edition) [Kids Take Over the Kitchen- Halloween Edition](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/kids-take-over-halloween-edition) - [![Blueberry goat cheese pizza](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/1_recipe_redux/Blueberry-goat-cheese-pizza-1-web-589571-edited.jpg)](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/perfect-pre-holiday-cheat-day) [My Perfect Pre-Holiday Cheat Day](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/perfect-pre-holiday-cheat-day) - [![](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hubfs/Screen%20Shot%202020-02-14%20at%208.53.14%20PM.png)](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/lets-plan-a-winter-slumber-party) [Let's Plan a Winter Slumber Party!](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/lets-plan-a-winter-slumber-party) [![spacer](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images-buzz-blog-2016/spacer-logo-2.png?width=177&height=107&name=spacer-logo-2.png "the Buzz")](https://thebuzzblog.calgiant.com/) [![spacer](https://berrybuzz.calgiant.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images-buzz-blog-2016/spacer-logo-3.png?width=206&height=83&name=spacer-logo-3.png "California Giant Berry Farms")](http://www.calgiant.com/) - - - - - - © 2026 CALIFORNIA GIANT BERRY FARMS.
