Once our berries are picked, they must pass a careful inspection before moving to our cooling facilities. There, we bring the internal temperature of our berries down to 32 degrees to preserve freshness for the best possible shelf life. When transported to retail stores, trucks are also kept at 32 degrees to safeguard the berries’ freshness. Once brought home, be sure to maintain this cold chain by immediately storing in your refrigerator until you are ready to enjoy.
