Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ghosts

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Ghosts are a delightful fusion of sweet and spooky, making them a fantastic addition to Halloween parties, dessert tables or as a spooktacular Halloween treat. These ghostly delights will not only satisfy your sweet tooth but also add a touch of Halloween magic to your festivities. Enjoy them as a delicious and charming way to celebrate the season. Follow the instructions below to create our simple strawberry ghosts.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries
  • White chocolate
  • Dark chocolate or Edible Writing Gel/Icing

Instructions

  • Melt white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Make sure to stir to prevent burning.
  • While white chocolate is melting, gently rinse strawberries and pat dry.
  • Dip strawberries in melted white chocolate and place on parchment or wax paper. Use any excess to create a ghost tail/whisp on the paper.
  • Add eyes and a mouth with dark chocolate (melt and place in piping bag) or edible writing gel.
  • Let harden in refrigerator and enjoy!

 

Strawberry Monster Brownie Bites

These bite-sized treats combine the rich flavor of brownies with the sweetness of strawberries. Each brownie is topped with a creamy frosting and a strawberry half that's been decorated to look like a friendly monster. They're perfect for kids and adults alike who love a fun and delicious dessert.

Ingredients:

  • Small brownie squares
  • Creamy frosting
  • Fresh strawberries
  • White chocolate candy melts or white decorating frosting
  • Black decorating frosting

Instructions:

  1. Prepare brownies: If not already made, bake brownies according to recipe of your choice. Let them cool completely before assembling the bites.

  2. Frost brownies: Frost the top of each brownie with a layer of creamy frosting.

  3. Create monsters:

    • Cut strawberries: Cut the calyx off of the top of the strawberry.
    • Ice strawberries:
      • Pipe white decorating frosting onto the strawberry to create a monster face.
      • Use a black decorating frosting tip to add two eyes and a mouth to the white frosting.
    • Add eyes: Use black e to draw two eyes on the white chocolate-coated part of each strawberry.

  2. Assemble: Place a strawberry monster on top of each frosted brownie square.

Spooky Raspberry Paloma Fizz

Muddled raspberries lend a vivid, red tint to this spooky cocktail (or mocktail!). This classic Paloma recipe is beautiful and balanced, leaving you with a smile on your face after every sip. Blackberry Creepy Crawly Cupcakes

Cute? Check. Creepy? Check. A favorite Halloween treat is our Blackberry Creepy Crawly Cupcakes! To make these, simply follow the directions of your go-to cupcake recipe (boxed mix is fine—or try out our delicious Double Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes). Once cupcakes have cooled and been frosted, place a blackberry on top. Chocolate sprinkles function as spider legs and candy eyes add the finishing touch, making for a delightful Halloween dessert. 

Spooky Spider Blackberry Waffle

Make waffles: Cook waffles according to your recipe. Let them cool completely before decorating.

Create spider webs:

  • Drizzle icing: Drizzle white icing in a circular pattern on each waffle to form the base of the spider web.
  • Thin lines: Use a toothpick or a piping bag with a fine tip to draw thin lines of white icing radiating outward from the center of the web.

Assemble spiders:

  • Create legs: Using black create the spider's legs.
  • Add body: Place a blackberry in the center of the web to form the spider's body.
  • Add eyes: Place eyes on the spider's body.

Serve: Enjoy your spooky and delicious spider web waffles!

Berry Bloody Cocktail/Mocktail

 

The "Bloody Berry" cocktail (or mocktail) is a delicious and visually striking drink that offers a vibrant red color and a combination of sweet and tangy flavors. This simple drink takes only a handful of ingredients and a few minutes to assemble. Simply dice strawberries and muddle with raspberries. Add a squeeze of lime juice, cherry juice (or other red-hued juice), honey or simple syrup and tequila or club soda for the perfect Halloween drink.

  • 1 strawberry, diced
  • A few raspberries
  • 2 oz. cherry juice
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • ½ oz. simple syrup or honey
  • Club soda or tequila

Blueberry Eyeballs

In search of an ultra-easy Halloween DIY treat? Look no further than our Blueberry Eyeballs. Two basic ingredients are required (blueberries and Greek yogurt) to make this simple—yet spooky—recipe. Simply wash and dry blueberries and dip in Greek yogurt, leaving a small portion of the berry uncovered. Place dipped berries on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper and let freeze until set. Once set, remove from the freezer and serve!

This kid-friendly Halloween DIY treat is delicious and nutritious! Utilizing simple ingredients like blueberries, strawberries, banana’s and Greek yogurt, these creepy crawlies are a breeze to assemble. Simply adhere sections of the creatures with Greek yogurt and freeze. Top with candy eyes for added cuteness.
