For the last 5 years, we've been working tirelessly to create and ensure a habitat where bees can thrive. But this is more than just an environmentally friendly service; generations of Cal Giant farmers have learned that without pollinators like bees, our quality blueberries wouldn't exist. Bees are the reason why our berries are healthy, flavorful and the top notch quality you've come to expect.
That's why we're excited to tell you that California Giant Berry Farms is now Bee Better Certified! Is it any wonder that our blog is called The Buzz?

5% (or 3 miles) of our farm acreage is now a dedicated pollinator (bee) habitat. Each blueberry flower has been pollinated at least once or multiple times by a bee. Basically, 1 blueberry = 1 bee. So the next time you reach for a package of blueberries, count how many blueberries are inside to see how many bees it took to grow 'em!
