With temps reaching 106 this week (!!!), I was on the hunt for some refreshing recipes that don’t involve an oven. Because who wants to stand in a hot kitchen made even hotter with an oven?
After seeing boozy popsicles pop up all over Facebook and Instagram, I decided to give it a try, using our delicious strawberries and blueberries. To make them even more delectable, I added Freida’s edible flowers. How perfect would these be for a bachelorette party or bridal shower? Or on a lazy Sunday afternoon :)

Pureed Sparkling Strawberry Popsicles
Ingredients (serves six)
1lb California Giant strawberries (with a few strawberries reserved)
1 cup sparkling wine or champagne
1-2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
In a blender, combine strawberries, sparkling wine or champagne, and honey. Pour strawberry mixture into popsicle molds, filling them ½ full. Slice remaining strawberries into 1/8” slices. Place slices into popsicle molds. Freeze overnight.

Champagne Popsicles with Berries and Edible Flowers
Ingredients (serves six)
½ cup California Giant strawberries, sliced
½ cup California Giant blueberries
2 cups champagne or sparkling wine
Freida’s edible flowers
Instructions
Fill popsicle molds ½ full with your choice of champagne or sparkling wine. Add slices of strawberries, blueberries and edible flowers to each mold. Freeze overnight.
