Holy moly. Big game mania is here. And it’s in our backyard. Let’s just say that I am not driving anywhere near San Jose this week. If you thought Bay Area traffic was bad, just add one million more people to the situation. Let the craziness ensue.
So, needless to say, we are staying home this weekend and having friends over to watch the game :) I am getting my grocery shopping done on Wednesday, so I can kick back all weekend and not worry about fighting the lines. And speaking of kicking back, want to know another secret to being a relaxed host/hostess? Having these delicious and super easy blackberry bruschetta appetizers for your guests to enjoy. Easy and fast is an understatement when it comes to these appetizers. They will literally take you less than five minutes to assemble, and they come packed with flavor. The presentation is also pretty killer with the drizzled honey ;)
All you need is a baguette, fresh blackberries, a wedge of Cabot’s white cheddar cheese, and some honey.

Sliced baguette (+ butter for making the bread crispy)
California Giant blackberries
Cabot's Farmhouse Reserve White Cheddar Cheese
Honey
