How to Select Raspberries

How to Store Raspberries
Raspberries should be kept refrigerated and stored in their original package. Once in your home, we recommend that the berries are inspected. Removing any dull, decayed or broken fruit. To keep your berries as fresh as possible, store them unwashed in the refrigerator in their original container. Just before you are ready to enjoy, gently wash the berries under cool tap water, as they are not a ready-to-eat product. On average, fresh raspberries are best eaten within 1-3 days of purchase.
Don’t forget, you can always freeze fresh raspberries. If you are unable to finish your berries, wash them, pat them dry, and lay them out on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze the berries on an uncovered cookie sheet for at least 24 hours, then transfer them to a freezer bag or container and use them later for smoothies or baked goods.
